Katrina Kaif Movies - Ek Tha Tiger

After months of baseless rumours its now officially declared that Yash Raj banner is now on a new concept with Director Kabir Khan and producer Aditya Chopra. This Katrina Kaif Movie has many surprises and the first one includes the pairing of Katrina Kaif and her ex Salman Khan.

The chemistry have been seen before but after their official split it’s their first movie together, the awkwardness to work with your ex beau will be visible or not with this pair is still to watch. The movie has been titled “Ek Tha Tiger” and is said to be a romantic thriller written by Aditya Chopra and having the music of Pritam.

With the long career of Salman Khan it’s the first time he will be working under Yash Raj Banner with Aditya Chopra so the connection between them is not so familiar at present whereas Katrina Kaif on the other hand has done the movie New York with Aditya before and thus she has a good bonding with him helping the guys to work together. According to some close observer Salman is not very comfortable with Adiya at present and he being not a phone person Katrina is working as a messenger between them to make the communication possible between the two.

The other reason for the Salman and Aditya to face a critical bonding could also be the closeness between the producer and Salman’s rival Sharukh since a long time. The movie “Ek Tha Tiger” is said to start its shoots from early July and is said to release near mid- 2012. We can just hope they open up soon with each other while shooting and spare Kat to be sandwiched in between however knowing the friendly nature of Salman with his Producers there is a bright hope to see Aditya in Salman’s friend list soon.

Katrina Kaif on National Awards

Bollywood’s top actress Katrina Kaif have been found making some humble request to the jury members of National Award in her recent press interview. The source of the talks between Kat and press began when she was asked questions related to the National Awards winners announced lately.

Small and sweet conflicts are the regular consequences of National Award declarations especially in Indian film fraternity and how come Katrina stays back in the arguments. The general should and shouldn’t game related to the winners of National Award was more with the Salman’s greatest hit of the year “Dabangg”. Firstly chairperson of the jury, director JP Dutta pushing the film too hard for the “Best Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment” made a lot of people upset including the ex of Salman, Katrina Kaif. Secondly Kat’s “Rajneeti” who in spite of giving strong competition to Dabangg couldn’t make for the award made her a little suspicious of the jury.

At her interview in Mumbai Katrina Kaif was made aware of big news of “Dabangg” winning national award for the best film. Surprisingly she absolutely had no idea but without wasting any time she spontaneously congratulated the team and also gave her movie “Rajneeti” the credit of a tough competitor to “Dabangg”.

Katrina also urged to the jury member for a new category in awards list which she want to be for the best item song of the year. She also said that being the sensational song of the year “Sheila ki Jawani” should surely have earned the nationals. Katrina made her request for some new additions in National Award openly on national television so whether she would be heard or not is still a task of patience, all we can do now is to just wait and imagine Item Numbers to be nominated for National awards.

Katrina Kaif - From one flopped to six hit in a row

You can imagine what will happen to an actress whose first and debut movie become super duper flop. That happened to Katrina Kaif with her first movie Boom. But she never gave up and worked hard on her acting skjill, dance performance and dialogue speaking. As a result now she have given 6 back to back hot movie to Bollywood. "When I started, people were not only writing me off for my strong British accent, there were many others who tried to prevent me from making it till here," Katrina told IANS in an interview.

"They didn't do so in an aggressive or excessive manner, but they used to say things like 'I don't know...' and 'I'm not sure...' that would suggest a not-so-positive approach towards me. But I proved myself ultimately.

"I always try and push myself to exceed expectations. I use this ideology in a positive way," she explained. Katrina Kaif have strong faith in destiny. "The great thing about life is that you never know what can happen and there's no limitation to it. Someone can tell you that you can never be this and never be that. It's not true. Anyone can be what he wants to be and destiny plays a major part in it. God has of course been very kind to me.

"I believe that everyone should try and live their dreams, follow them and they might just come true someday," Katrina said. When talked about her improvement, Katrina added "Interacting with various people on and off the sets and doing some eight Hindi movies, dealing with Hindi scripts, practising dialogue delivery ... I think that in itself has taught me and helped me improve my accent."

It’s a normal course of Media that they started to add Lucky Mascot if you give back to back hits. For Lucky word Katrina Kaif added - "'Lucky mascot' doesn't make any sense. It is such an illogical statement. A successful film is a combination of a good director, good music, intelligent script, good timing, destiny, everybody's efforts and audience's reaction. There isn't a reason or an explanation that you can tag a person as lucky," she remarked.

In her career, Katrina has predominantly dabbled in comedies, but she has lately "felt the need to progress a bit" and try her hand at different things. "If you see Akshay Kumar, he was an action hero and then he went to comedy and found out his real calling. It took him to new heights of superstardom. I think it is important to take risks and figure out what really suits you.

"Every actor has a strength like Aamir does romance and Akshay does comedy, but I don't know my strength yet. "If I get a contrast role in one film like where one get-up has me play a simple, shy and homely girl, the other has me as a brass and loud girl, I would definitely do that," she said in an excited tone.
As of now, Katrina has a number of films in her kitty.

She is doing two films with Ranbir Kapoor including "Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani" by Rajkumar Santoshi. She is also working with Prakash Jha on his multi-starrer "Rajniti". These apart, she has one comedy film in hand and a two-film deal each with UTV and TV 18 respectively.
